The screech owl from California was right as rain after a quick blow dry.
An owl that was thought to have died was brought back to the land of the living thanks to a hairdryer.
The bird, a screech owl, was found by residents in Palo Alto, California, who alerted local animal control officers.
According to an Instagram post from Palo Alto Animal Control (PAAC), the owl was in such a bad way officers thought it had died.

I never thought the reason I’d be late for an important meeting with the boss, was because I was “blow-drying an owl” but…. here we are.🤷🏻♂️ . . This little guy/gal is a nestling Screech owl found in a Palo Alto residents back yard this morning. At one point we though he had passed on, but after being warmed up with a run-of-the-mill hair dryer, and placed in a warm incubator, he was sent off to the wildlife center where he is now resting comfortably. #paloalto #owl #nestling #animalcontrol #aco
But the owl was warmed up with a hairdryer and placed into an incubator which seemingly did the trick, breathing new life into the bird.
It was subsequently taken to a wildlife centre to continue its recovery.
