Four Star Pizza has opened its first takeaway and restaurant in Swords with a €100,000 investment which will create up to 15 new jobs in the area.
The new store, which officially opened its doors on Main Street in Swords last week, is the pizza chain’s 56th location across the island of Ireland and is expected to deliver more than 80,000 fresh pizzas to homes in the Swords area over the next 12 months.
The year ahead will see Four Star Pizza using over one million pepperoni slices, 10 tonnesof cheese and 17 tonnes of flour in the process of serving its Swords customers.
John Wilson, Managing Director of the Swords store, as well as a second Four Star Pizza franchise in Lusk, is confident that the new store will go down a treat with locals and explained how the Swords location has been in the making for some time.
He said: ‘I’m over the moon to announce that our new store in Swords is now officially open.
‘We have invested over €100,000 into getting the new location ready, and we’re especially pleased that we can contribute to the local economy here in Swords with 15 new jobs for store staff and delivery drivers to help us keep up with demand from customers.
John added: ‘Swords is a great area that has really grown over the last few years. We’ve been wanting to open a store here for some time because we’ve always known that there is a real market for Four Star Pizza. Now that we have the right location, we can’t wait to start serving up some fresh pizza to the people of Swords.’
